Transient Occupancy Tax Revenues
Mayor Myers has worked diligently to see that Matthews receives its fair share of the Transient Occupancy Tax. This has been revised over the years to insure fair distribution of the revenue, based upon a point of origin and a percentage formula.
For this current physical year, revenues are anticipated to be between $350,000.00 and $400,000.00.
