Enhancing community activities has always been part of Mayor Myers' strategy to support lifestlye growth. MARA has been a successful youth sports program of which Mayor Myers has been involved for many years.

- The Summer Concerts were started by Mayor Myers and he brought us “Movies in the Park” to bring families together to watch outdoor movies
- Supported programming designed for the youngest children to senior citizens
- Children’s Playhouse and full length plays make the renovated community center an asset in our community
- Opening of the Crews Road Recreation Center - "build it and they will come"
