Churches continue to grow and expand in Matthews
Have worked with all CMS and private schools.
We need a change in public education
Worked to bring Pete Gormon to CMS and has established a good working relationship with him.
Worked with past and present school officials to have 4 new schools built within the town limits of Matthews.
- Crown Point.
- Elizabeth Lane.
- Crestdale Middle.
- Butler Senior High.
Long overdue renovations and expansion to Matthews Elementary School.
Attended countless public hearings and worked at every level to bring a choice plan for pupil assignment allowing neighborhood schools - this has now happened.
CPCC Levine campus has brought educational opportunities, and it is expanding.
Will work to do away with mobile classrooms (trailers).
Worked with Presbyterian Hospital to bring the hospital to Matthews and subsequent much needed expansions – what an asset to our community
Have worked with Medic in conjunction with our own EMS to provide quick professional response for medical emergencies within Matthews.
Have improved medical services to Matthews area residents regardless of their ability to afford such services as a member of the Community Health Alliance
