16 years as mayor and 4 years on town council allowing Matthews to be a better place to live, work and raise a family in 2007 and beyond

Leadership for neighborhoods, civic groups and our business community
Leadership in bringing the library to Downtown Matthews
Leadership in getting schools built in Matthews and now allowing our children to make a choice to attend community schools if they want
Leadership in the greater community on county and state issues which are important to all of us
