Downtown Matthews is the heart and soul of our town.
With the development of Matthews Station, we have entered into a public/private venture which will bring economic vitality, parking spaces, and a new library/town hall, all in one package.
Work with existing businesses to keep good employers in Matthews
An emphasis needs to be on office development especially along 485.
Mayor Myers has worked throughout Matthews on a wide range of issues involving the economic development of the area.
His commitment is to bring in quality businesses with high-paying jobs which will be here for many years into the future.

Bonds have been used to extend water and sewer lines.
No cost to Matthews taxpayer as all payments are made by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department.
